Are you addicted to Facebook? Before you immediately answer that question as “yes” or “no” take a moment to think about if you can live without Facebook login for a day, a week, or even a full month.
Here are three different tests to actually determine if you’re addicted to Facebook or not. The outcome of each of these different exercises will shed some light onto how important Facebook is to you.
(1) TRY NOT TO FACEBOOK LOGIN FOR A DAY
The first test deals with not logging onto Facebook for a whole day. This means 24 hours of abstinence from Facebook login. If you can’t make it a day without breaking, face it. You’re hooked!
(2) TRY NOT TO FACEBOOK LOGIN FOR A WEEK
So, you may have passed the one-day test, which means you’re not an absolute Facebook fiend. However, let’s up the ante. Try to avoid Facebook login for seven consecutive days and we’ll talk then.
(3) TRY NOT TO FACEBOOK LOGIN FOR A MONTH
OK, congrats if you made it a full week without even logging in to Facebook one time. It’s pretty clear that you’re not really addicted to Facebook. If you make it 30 days, you’re not even attached!
Most of us will learn that we are at least somewhat addicted to Facebook login. We can’t avoid typing in facebook.com and entering those magic letters and numbers to gain access once more to our FB page.
Make it a day without Facebook, cute. Make it a week without Facebook and you’re not addicted that much to Facebook login. Make it a full month without login to Facebook and you’re clearly over Facebook.
